What Does the World See in God's People?

This series is written about Genesis 26, the story of Isaac and Abimelech. The story of “What did Abimelech see in Isaac?” which could also be called “What does the World See in God’s People?” and “What do Men See in You?” These devotions focus on the witness of The Children of God in the sight of the world.

How to Pray…

Learning to pray can change our lives. These devotions are excerpts from a series of sermons. Read these topics: How to Pray to Change Lives; How To Pray About Your Problems; and How To Pray To Change Your Attitude. Then challenge yourself to apply the information found here.

The Value of a Woman

This short series of messages is written from notes taken during the preaching of a sermon by the same title. It is our hope that both men and women will be blessed by the knowledge of a woman’s value; that men will seek out a virtuous woman, and that women will choose to be virtuous by submitting to the standard set by God.

The Overcomer

What is an Overcomer? The Bible speaks of profitable servants and unprofitable servants. And we see the saved man can be classed as either a profitable servant, or an unprofitable servant. The profitable servant is the “overcomer.”

Steps of Revival

Who needs revival? All of God’s saints who have gotten side-tracked in their dedication to God. In Genesis 35:1-5, God directed Jacob in the Steps of Revival for Jacob and all his household. This series looks at each of these steps in detail and how to apply them to our daily life.

Little is Much

This series is based on John 6:1-14, The Miracle of Jesus feeding the five thousand. This is the only miracle recorded by all four Gospels. It also is the most known of Jesus’ miracles. This miracle was performed by Jesus to give a physical type of the spiritual message concerning Jesus being “that Bread” which came down from Heaven.

The Making of a Man

The Making of a Man begins with the creation of man, Genesis 1:26-27. In this series, we are not setting forth “How to be a Man.” However, as our reader measures himself by these Scriptural standards, he will come in line with God’s purpose for his life and will realize his blessedness in God’s Sovereign Plan.

Make Me

These devotions are submitted to the believer to remind him of the necessity of petitioning God for the understanding of the Commandments of Christ and the power to perform them. They also reveal the rewards of obedience to those Commandments.

Beatitudes, Matthew 5:3-7

The Beatitudes are found in Matthew 5, at the beginning of the Sermon on The Mount. Jesus is describing those whom He calls “blessed.” In this series, we look at the first five Beatitudes, found in Matthew 5:3-7. These posts are taken from a series of sermons preaches by Brother Bob Easton.
