In Proverbs Chapter Two, Solomon continues his Proverbs of Wisdom to his son, “my son.” While it is true that King Solomon was instructing his own son in practical truths using pithy (or concise) sentences; “my son” can be applied to all of God’s Regenerated People. In this view, Solomon stands as our God, our Heavenly Father, calling us His son, teaching us Truth and Wisdom – Truth, or Christ, Who is the Wisdom of God manifested in the flesh, Who has been made unto us Wisdom.
