Grace & peace to my friends and family at House of Hope Prison Ministry,
I challenged my family to partake in this ministry and show me some love and affection. Well that didn’t come to my doorstep; but redemption and truth came to my door.
One must have faith to endure this harsh environment. I’ve had my fair share of let downs. A man doesn’t know how good it feels to want change in his life. Plenty of people have the potential to improve. Who will be the first to change without it being forced upon them?
I don’t know what to expect; only what my Lord puts on my heart.
Lord, please continue to strengthen this ministry and the great people who care. Open those doors, Lord, and continue to heal lives like you’ve done mine. Bless the House of Hope Ministry; and Oh Lord, touch the people, places, and things that help this lifeline to grow.
Respectfully, D. N. (a recovering addict)
